I saw it in a cave

—Solo Exhibition
2025

18 December 2025—10 January 2026

Produced by Gratin NYC

Like holding up a torch in a fathomless cavern, I excavate images through applying and removing layers of paint. The underbelly of the earth is rife with faces and places and bodies that melt into one another. Caves are our refuge from the threats of this harsh and cold world, but how can we hide from the demons and the ghosts within?

The Cave
Acrylic on Aluminum Dibond
W: 300 H: 250 cm (diptych)

Set in the derelict headquarters of the lighting company PSLab (abandoned since the August 4 explosion), the duo show with Ziad Antar spans different media and scales, from miniature monotypes on paper to monumental paintings on dibond. The works occupy the roofless outdoor factory hangars and the building that used to house the offices.
